Join us to explore the fantastical illustrations of Quentin Blake led by professional illustrator, Jessica Hartshorn (Jessi Illustrates).

At the day workshop, you will:

• Find out about Quentin Blake and the artwork in the exhibition by exploring the gallery.
• Use your imagination to create new drawings with different materials such as ink, watercolours and charcoal.
• Learn technical skills such as how to develop characters, draw expressions, mark making and movement during draw-a-long sessions with our illustrator.
• Work collaboratively on a large-scale colour illustration inspired by Quentin Blake’s artwork.

For children aged 12-16 years old.
