Happy Anniversary Dan & Eli
Congratulations Dan & Eli on your first anniversary!
I’ve been thinking back to my memories of Dan and Eli’s day with us, they struck a chord with me because they exuded so much natural fun and charm from the first meeting and they were so in love, they made it easy. They bounced ideas off each other, both totally taking this wedding planning thing in their stride.
So much of it they did in house, calling in mum with her beautiful flowers, the bridesmaids balloon creativity and ushers to finish the table settings and decorating the bar for Dan and Eli’s lovely day. Even better, the night before the wedding, they turned up with an army to pull it all together! It was teamwork extraordinaire!
On the morning of May 17th the weather was playing with us and we were ready to spring into action for either an inside or an outside drink reception. Always need a plan A and B! As it happened the sun bore through and a beautiful ceremony in the chapel with one of my favourite confetti shots was played out by gorgeous Toscana Strings to a reception on our Champagne Terrace.
Adam Hall had been transformed by the incredible team and looked beautiful , set college style, bustling with fun, colour and energy!
BBQ spiced panko crusted chicken breast, was followed by the blade of beef and individual chocolate truffle tortes with peanut butter caramel and honeycomb crumb (a winner!). Aperol spritz were the toast drink of choice, complete with slices of orange, of course!
Come the evening, the fire pits were lit and guests relaxed, enjoying the galleries, grounds and the company, gathering around the fire pits in the courtyard to relive the day and years past in true relaxed, cool Eli and Dan style.
No first dance for these two, a Mr and Mrs Game with a twist that we will never forget! 😊
