Our park is rich in history and has a multitude of activities for you to enjoy and explore throughout the year whatever the weather.

The Park at Compton Verney that you see today is the result of an 11-year restoration project that is still ongoing to restore the landscape to the one that Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown designed in 1768.

Head to the allotment and see the display of flowers, herbs, edibles and a small tree nursery growing there

Spot birds on the lake from our bird hide
Swing by the bee hives on the West Lawn
Build sand castles in our sand pits
Bring your dog and take a stroll around our meadows
Bring your own nets and pop by the pond dipping platform

Stop by the pigment garden and discover the plants historically used in the dying process
Climb, swing and zip through the air at our Woodland Playground

Take a peek inside our beautifully restored Ice House
