The Women’s Library

Remaining in intact from the 19th century, The Women’s Library was created around 1860 by Georgiana Verney, a champion of women’s reading, education, and suffrage. Now a space for discovery and reflection, it currently holds masterpieces by Canaletto which beautifully complement the original features of the room like the leather faux book spines on the door. The Library can be hired for small gatherings, such as board or strategy meetings.

Adam Hall

Named after the prominent 18th century architect who built it, the Robert Adam Hall is the jewel of Compton Verney. With large picture windows, high ceilings and ornate period features, the Hall makes the perfect location for a gala dinner, conference, or networking event, and can even be used as an exhibition space.

Sensing Naples Gallery

Spread across three vibrant rooms, the Sensing Naples Gallery hosts one of the richest collections of Neapolitan art outside of Naples. Wow your guests by hiring the art gallery for your exclusive use as a drinks reception or dining space, and surround yourself with the artwork of this historic city.

The Grounds

At Compton Verney, we have 120 acres of idyllic countryside for you to explore that is soon to also host a sculpture park. Whether you want to host an al-fresco party on the lawn overlooking the lake, or hire the grounds for a showcase event, there are plenty of opportunities for you to explore with our team.

Set in the heart of England, we are easily accessible from the M40, and within easy reach of Birmingham, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa, with rail links direct to London and the rest of the country.
